We always have more requests for therapy dog visits than teams available.  Your donation will assist in adding additional teams (dogs and handlers) to the 17^th Circuit program.  All our teams and administrators are volunteers.  However, there are expenses running a non-profit organization.  When a new team is accepted, the handler receives a shirt, leash, and bag.  The dog receives either a bandana or a vest with his/her name on it.  It is important for all our teams to be recognized as part of the 17^th Circuit Therapy Dog Volunteers.  We have other expenses, such as trading cards for each of the dogs, training materials, brochures, id badges, etc.
